10 simple life hacks for a happier lifestyle
I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for life hacks that not only make life easier in that moment, but life hacks that truly make life easier in the long run. Simple DAILY hacks that will even benefit my happiness weeks from now, I’m so here for it.

1.) After drinking your lemon water first thing in the morning, start the day with green tea BEFORE (not instead of :P) coffee! The amount of benefits green tea has for you is actually absurd! Though there really is no “right” time to drink green tea, I PERSONALLY chose to do it in the morning, and before my coffee. I really like this article Healthline wrote on it, if you’d like to read more and decide when the right time for you to drink it would be 🙂
2.) EAT BEFORE DRINKING YOUR COFFEE!! If you’re not following the Balanced Beyars sisters on Instagram – you need to! Read their Instagram caption on THIS POST for info regarding eating before coffee! AND this one! They are seriously great. (I get ALL of my info from them!)
3.) Set a timer for everything – and I mean everything! Set a timer to BE SURE you get movement in throughout the day. Set a timer to remind you to eat during lunch. Literally anything and everything, just set a timer and do what you’re suppose to do at that buzz of that timer and I promise your day will be SO much more productive and “easy”.
4.) Put your AirPods in with your favorite podcast, or playlist, and knock out that grocery trip! Since doing this, I feel it goes by much quicker and less painful! And that’s a win! Pro tip: Don’t have it too loud incase the sweet little old lady needs your help with something. (speaking from experience LOL)
5.) Set a (realistic) morning routine that you STICK WITH every single morning. Wake up at the same time everyday, and check it off your to-do list as you go!

6.) After washing and cutting your fruits, store them in glass jars in your refrigerator so they last longer! This also makes it extremely convenient to snack on these rather than chips, because they are already cut and easy to put out!
7.) Natural Vitamin D! If it’s too cold where you are currently, and getting outside for some vitamin D is lacking, simply find a sunny spot in your house and plant yourself there for a few minutes. Or if you don’t have a sunny spot, (grab and iced coffee) and park your car in the sun and just bathe in it – while having the heat from the car also keeping you warm!
8.) Move your body for at least 20 minutes first thing in the morning! Get your juices flowing and your body “warmed up” for a big day! On warmer days I like to go for walks, and on colder days, I will do a 15 minute YouTube pilates class followed by 5 minutes of meditation.
9.) Use the text message app on your laptop to avoid grabbing your phone throughout the day and getting distracted by scrolling social media!
10.) Sleeeeeeep. Go to sleep at the same time every night and AVOID using your phone while laying in bed. The second the lights go out and you’re in bed, don’t touch your phone! Quality sleep is so important to your overall health and happiness it’s CRAZY! Also, I RAVE about these pillows and they’re really just a must have for good quality sleep! I swear by them!!!
