I shared a few upgraded bedding pieces the other day on my instagram stories and I just knew it needed a perm spot on the blog. I also mentioned how we plan on redoing our bedroom this fall (mainly just paint & decor – nothing crazy) but I just couldn’t hold back anymore on sharing my cloud of a bed with you all!
Sleep really is SOO important, and you spend like what… half your life in your bed? (I made this up, but I’m sure google has the right answer hahah) so why on earth wouldn’t we be making it the absolute best of the best, if we can! All of these pieces will have your bed feeling like a luxurious hotel bed, but for way less!

Bamboo Mattress Topper
✨the holy grail✨ Kev and I splurged on a Tempur-Pedic mattress when we first moved into our new home last year, so it PAINED me to purchase a mattress topper… but wow was it so worth it.
My pro tip to you is to let it sit out for 24hrs before putting it on your mattress and sleeping on it. For extra fluff (I did this after the 24 hours) toss it in the dryer for about 20 minutes with a dryer ball!

Duvet Insert
When it comes to the duvet insert, you’ll want to have TWO of these inserted into your duvet. To get that fluffy full look, as well as not having the insert moving around on the inside, SIZE UP! You’ll want to size up one size from your bed. Example: we have a king size bed, so our inserts are California king!
Duvet Cover
We have been loving this linen duvet cover from Target, Casaluna line, for over a year now. We will most likely get the same one in white when we redo our bedroom this coming fall!

Pillows
If you don’t already have these Amazon pillows I’ve been talking about for 3 years now… I can’t help you. LOL jk. But they really are heaven sent. I also have come to realize that not everyone loves fluffy pillows, so if you’re more of a flat, pancake type of pillow lover… I don’t think you’re going to love sleeping with these!
Satin Pillow Cases
Ours are from Bedsure on amazon and I honestly have no complaints. Plus they are extremely affordable. We have a few different colors to switch it up for fun!
Sheet set
Just soooooo soft and honestly great quality for the price. I buy them on repeat in different colors! They’re also deep pocket.
