Hi 🙂 I’ve gotten a lot of questions lately on how to use the LIKETOKNOW.it app. This app is where I (and many others) link any products that can be linked, for you to easily shop them instead of having to go on a hunt for something I’ve recommended that you liked/wanted. If you’re someone who uses the app but isn’t exactly sure what it is exactly or what all you can do within the app, this post could be helpful to you. And if you don’t know at all what LTK is or how to use this app, you’re the reason I’m writing this today <3
what is the LTK app?
The LTK app is (in my opinion) a glorified Pinterest! If you scroll and see something you like, there’s no more running to google to try to figure out how you can get your hands on one, where it’s from, how much it is, etc etc! All you do is simply click on the picture of the item/outfit you like and ALL of the details will be RIGHT THERE! Easy peasy! When you click on a product that you like, it will take you directly to the website where you can purchase it/shop. One thing to note, that if you DO make a purchase, whomever posted that item/link WILL get a small commission from the COMPANY (at NO extra cost to you whatsoever) for advertising and promoting that product!
Online shopping is ever evolving and If there is a page/person you support, I encourage you to use their links when you’re purchasing anything online. It does not have to be the exact item they are promoting either, you may click on a link to a pair of flip flops but end up buying sunscreen and because of the tracking ID in that link, they will still get the small commission from the purchase. This allows for that person to continue to create the content that you love so much, while adding no additional work or cost to you!

I genuinely appreciate you just being here reading my content I SO HAPPILY spend hours upon hours on for free, so when you do use my links I don’t take that lightly. I’m truly grateful for you all and appreciate you more than you know. <3
how to use the LTK app
1.) download for free – you’ll then want to create a user profile
2.) search for creators – I of course couldn’t show you how to use the app without showing you how to follow the people/pages you love right? Might as well start with yours truly 😛 If you know the handle of the person you’re looking for, type that in. If not, try their name, if that doesn’t work – head over to their social media and I’m sure you’ll find it quickly, OR just shoot them a DM and ask!
3.) scroll posts – whether this is on a specific creators page (like below) or the for you page where it will show posts from everyone you follow (like IG). You can even search in the search bar if you’re looking for specific things such as “target sandals” “amazon finds” “vacation outfits” etc etc!
4.) Find a post you like – What to do if you’ve found something you like? Click on the post and you’ll find all of the item details below. But maybe you’re not wanting to purchase it right away, you can favorite that post and come back to it when you’re ready!
5.) find the item – see a collage like this and want to know where you can find that item or how much it is? Scroll to the bottom of the post and you will find everything that was able to be linked, linked! (with the option to favorite aka save for later as well!)
6.) save or purchase items – Found an item that you love? Scroll down to where they are linked and click on the exact item. This will then pop up showing everything below (price, product name, share, favorite, add to list, or shop) If you hit “shop now” it will then take you directly to that product on the sellers website. Example below, it will take you directly to Sephoras website on the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Powder page! Or if you found something you love, but don’t need it at the moment, hit “favorites” to save for later! If there’s a pair of sandals you love but it’s the dead of winter, save it for when warmer weather comes around and circle back to it!
At the bottom of your screen on the APP you’ll see “HOME” “FAVORITES” “DISCOVER” and “MENU“. Home is basically your home feed, showing everyone you follow’s posts. Favorites is of course everything you’ve favorited (like I taught you above) to circle back to! Discover is basically your “explore” page on IG, you’ll find new creators, new posts etc etc. And menu is your account page where you’ll find everyone you follow, settings, help center, privacy, and to log out! I have many posts with LTK links in them, but if you’re ever looking for anything specific, just search for it in the search bar!
