my beauty wishlist

I decided today’s post would be something fun and share with you all what I have in my shopping cart… my beauty wishlist if you will!

I won’t lie here, ever, so when I say I have stuck to my OG beauty products for well over 10 years now… cringe. I’ve always been a creature of habit and never wanted to try new things, especially when it came to what was on my face or in my hair! But the past year I have been branching out more and WOW is it fun! There are SOOOOO many COOL products out there, like where have I been?!

I’m so glad to have this space to not only share with you all what I’ve been loving (and not loving!) but to also see what YOU all have been loving and trying it out! I’d also LOVE to hear your suggestions and recommendations! Seriously! Is there something you see on my list that you have and LOVE? or have and HATE? I neeeed to know!! So, help a sista out! Of course some of these products are extremely cheap, basic and easy to just go quickly grab and try, but I also am very aware of the things I don’t NEED at the moment and that these are all just WANT’S! I also don’t want to try a bunch of things at once and not truly know what exactly it is I do or don’t like, ya know!!

BEAUTY WISHLIST

skincare wishlist

Like I mentioned above and in almost all of my skincare posts, I am very much a creature of habit when it comes to… basically everything, but DEFINITELY my skincare. Therefore these items on my beauty wishlist are items that won’t make me stray far from my normal but still let me continue to take care of my face! Don’t fix it if it’s not broken amiriight!!? 😛

• silk pillowcase – extremely healthy for your hair and skin!!
• PMD facial scrubbing brush – ya girl just really wants an upgrade from her little silicone brush
• mini mini fridge – it’s actually reallllllly beneficial to keep your skincare products in a cool temperature and just how cute is it in this mini fridge for your bathroom!
• teeth whitening pens – not necessarily skincare, but in that area ya know!! This is something I’ve been wanting to do foreverrrrrrrr!
• exfoliating sponge – I talked about this in my post on anti-aging skincare tips, and i’m so excited to try it!
• laneige lip mask – I’ve just been using the Vaseline lip care after my skincare routine, but I’d like to give this a try to see if it’s worth the hype or if its basically the same thing, ya know?!

makeup wishlist

uuuugggghhhhhh SOO many GOOD products and items that I want and to try but y know, keeping it realistic! 😛

• Charlotte Tilbury setting powder – I have this, but I bought he travel size incase I didn’t love it (pro tip!! if they have travel size buy that one first to see if you love it!) but, I do – A LOT!!! So it’s on my beauty wishlist to get the full size!
• travel LED mirror – I think this is SO cool, and SO necessary if you travel often! I cant even count how many times I’ve left the hotel or wherever and I look in a mirror and I’m like WTF is going on here!!!! Lightening is everything y’all! Even if you think muscle memory will help ya out… majority of the time it will not HAHA!!
• tarte poreless primer – my pores are HUGE you guys. And even though you can never fully get rid of them, I’ll do anything to make them seem smaller thats for sure. So I want to give this one a try!
• Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless foundation – I LOVE all of her products and this is just one on my list to try to see just how good it will be. This one I’m afraid of because if its good… I’ll never turn back! And it is a pretty penny but actually foundation lasts me SOO LONG so I know it will be worth it… IF I like it… haha stay tuned!
• tarte juicy lip – LOVE THESE SO MUCH! But I refused to purchase just one because I want all the colors and I won’t be happy if I just have one. What can I say, ya girl knows herself. So until I commit to all, I will have none! 😛
• Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip duo – Again, I love all of her products that I have, and I’m a sucker for a pinkish nude lip, so this is FOR SURE top on my beauty wishlist!
• it cosmetics tinted moisturizer – I’ve been wanting to try this for a while now! I hardly EVER wear makeup because if I do my face, I DO my face ya know? And we don’t need that everyday! So I really want that natural even skin tone kind of vibe!

haircare wishlist

SOO many people ask me what I use for and on my hair to make it so long, thick, and shiny… and though I do have some tips and tricks on how I maintain, I have zero secret products or regimens that I use/follow! I have become more and more invested in my hair lately and I LOVE IT. I’ve always felt that my hair was so boring, so I will definitely be trying new things to see what I love and will report back!!

• scalp scrubber – there are SOO many benefits to massaging your scalp, I’m sure you’ve heard, and realistically you can do this yourself but I think this scrubber could feel really good and get a deeper massage than just your fingers. OR it could be a hot freaking mess and tangle the **** out of your hair… one day, we shall find out!
• olaplex products – I, at first, did not jump on the olaplex trend because honestly, it’s pricy (especially for the size of the bottles like yooooo I have you seen my long thick hair, three showers and that bottle is gone!) and have I been getting by without it? Yes! BUUUTT my new hair stylist (here in Canada) used it and I’m telling you (and myself) it’s worth it!! These are a few of their products I would start with considering they are only every other wash etc.!
• T3 curling iron – We have allllll seen this curling iron and we have all seen that price! Again, have I been getting by without it? Yes! But does that mean I don’t want it, really bad? No! So, will I be purchasing it when it’s on sale? Absolutely! But either way, its very very very high up on my beauty wishlist!
• living proof dry shampoo – Personally, I cannot use dry shampoo the way all my friends use it, all the time. My scalp drys out SO extremely quick so if I use any sort of dry shampoo its because I NEED to and because I KNOW that I will be washing my hair either that night or the next morning! I’ve heard great things about this product so beauty wishlist it is!
• Navy volume spray – ya girl has a HEAD OF HAIR on her thats for sure! Yet I am always feeling like at the top its so boring and flat on my head, and then boom all of it is at the bottom haha – so I would say its worth a try for me! I hate anything texturized to my hair so if it makes it feel weird or stiff, it’ll be a no for me!
• hair scarf – this is just a fun little accessory I think would be really cute to add to some outfits, so why not! Will I be able to pull it off? Who knows! Will I try? For sure!

And that’s a wrap on my current beauty wishlist! I love that I said I would be keeping it simple and yet here I am 1,500+ words later 😛 It is what it is, amiriight?!
