Purple Butterfly Themed Baby Shower For a Gender Neutral Shower
A few weekends ago we threw three mama’s (to be) in our friend group a gender neutral baby shower! The reason behind the gender neutral is because only one of them was finding out the gender before giving birth – the other two are waiting for baby to make their entry!
The thought behind the butterflies is because we all met through our S.O and their hockey team, which are the Monarchs. CUTE!

CONFESSION: I’ve been having EXTREME friend guilt the past few weeks and it’s been hard trying to keep it together. Throwing a baby shower for a group of girls (that are amazing!) that I only met 2 years ago and not being able to attend my best friends baby shower at home (over 2,000 miles and an international border away) has really been KILLING me!
As much guilt as I’ve been feeling, I know I can’t take away from the life and amazing friends I’ve met here. It’s just something that’s been weighing HEAVY on me and I’m venting to my people that’s all <3
Other than sending gifts, and helping plan the shower from afar – any suggestions on how to be a better long distance friend in this scenario because I feel like I suck!! LOL.
