There’s just something so exciting about makeup around spring time… is it because it’s the beginning of warmer weather, or that we know we are about to have some natural color back to our skin and our makeup will match 😛 Like we actually just feel like brand new people, no? I know I definitely do! HAHA!

When you click on a product that you like, it will take you directly to the website where you can purchase it/shop, and I will note, that if you DO make a purchase, whomever posted that item/link WILL get a small commission from the COMPANY (at NO extra cost to you whatsoever) for advertising and promoting that product!

I’m sharing my favorite makeup products that make for the perfect spring refresh! If you’ve been reading for a while you know that I’m a creature of habit so when I find something I like, I use it forever! 😛
First things first, my makeup bag! This isn’t a spring makeup product but I can’t talk about makeup without showing off my favorite makeup bag! 😛 I’ve never loved a bag so much! This is the most ideal and practical organizational bag that I’ve ever owned! It’s so perfect and practical (for me) that I don’t even take my makeup out when I’m not traveling… this is it’s forever home for the time being! I just pull it out of the cabinet and go! And if I’m feeling the lighting downstairs, I can easily pick up and go down to do my makeup without making an absolute mess and forgetting and leaving items all over the house! Love it! *and it’s extremely affordable!* LOL My mom got one after I showed her and suddenly everyone on her Christmas list was getting one too 😉
The bottom part is adjustable so you can create the spaces larger or smaller, however you think fits your products best! (I really need to reorganize and clean mine, oops!)
Okay, on to the makeup!
My newest LOVE! I now know why people rave about these products, and also why they are on the splurgy side! Totally worth it! Also, they are MASSIVE! They will easily last a very very long time! I’ve already have these below for a year (mind you, I hardly do my makeup right now as I’m at home!) and they’re still like brand new. Also, the tiny little one you see below, MY FAVE! It’s a setting blur powder, and since it came in a travel size I always opt for that when I’m first trying something, and the big one will absolutely be in my hands when this runs out! I linked the exact shades to the bronzer and blush in the pic below, or the link above on “CHARLOTTE TILBURY”!
Absolutely OBSESSED with these. They are unlike anything I’ve ever ever ever had! I love them so much!! Of the four that I have, Petal (left) is my favorite, then Orchid (right), Wild Berry (not pictured), and then Coconut (middle)! Petal is a very pale pink, so for my skin tone it brightens up my natural lip color with a glossy look (more natural looking) and the Orchid is more of a mauve color so I use this if I’m wanting more color to my lips! I’m not a huge fan of the coconut color (more brown/nude) on my skin tone but I have paired it others and it’s a nice addition!
I absolutely love these because, for me, lipstick is too bold for me. I’m more of a color tint kind of gal! And lipstick usually dries my lips out so quick, but these are like a lipstick (color wise) and chap stick (moisture wise) all in one. Amazing! They also just came out with a LIP PLUMP version (!!) and I can’t wait to get my hands on that one!
Mary Kay CC CREAM (light to medium)
I swapped out my foundation for this CC cream and LOVE IT. It’s SO lightweight I literally don’t even know I have it on. At all! It’s a more of a light to medium coverage which I think is the PERFECT shade for not only spring, but an everyday natural wear! I’ve said it before but my aunt once told me “the idea of wearing makeup is to make it look like you’re not wearing any at all” This was when I was probably 12, and makeup has evolved since, but I still to this day think of her saying this when doing my makeup. I’m definitely more of a natural over glam type of gal when it comes to makeup (sometimes with a little pop!) so this works for me 🙂 I’ll also forever love the prices of MK products <3
Not forgetting to mention the added SPF 15!!! We LOVE to see that in our makeup products 😛 I also use a MaryKay foundation primer (with added SPF as well) under this, that I love!
Again, going off the more natural look – and springy vibes – this Mascara makes for that perfect subtile lash tint, fan, and lift! It’s hands down my favorite mascara Mary Kay has ever had! If I’m doing an everyday natural look, I will wear this alone, but if I’m going out or to an event I will pair this with the Lancome mascara that I have pictured and linked below! The Fanorama really fans out your lashes giving it a fuller look, and the Lancomb creates the dramatic effect with the boldness! And of course a warm lash curler, always before applying mascara! Also, lash primer! I use the one from Mary Kay as well and love it! (I use it as clear brow gel as well! Double whammy!)

I love this! I need to try some of the Mary Kay products again. I used to wear MK all the time, but stopped when I loved to Florida.
