The Best Affordable Bathing Suits For Summer 2024
I haven’t purchased/worn a bathing suit in over two years. (I would wear the top and just a pair of shorts if I went anywhere that required a suit!) So, I put a question box on my instagram stories asking for bathing suit recommendations… and then totally went against everyones suggestions. *palm to forehead emoji* BUT I’m actually glad I did.
Here’s the thing. Like I mentioned above, I haven’t ordered bathing suits in over two years, which means I needed a few(with a couple beach vacations coming up!). I also know myself, and most likely will still wear my shorts everywhere – which means I wasn’t looking to spend a crazy amount on them. Soooo, you see where I’m going with this!
I thought “why not” just order a couple from Shein for CHEAP and if they don’t work out then I’ll return them, and if they do – great! As you can expect my expectations were not high. Which probably was the way to go because when I tell you I was PLEASANTLY surprised…. I already put in another order 😛
Shein bathing suits
I ordered one in every color of the “Vacation Style” (linked below)bathing suit in size large. It’s extremely comfortable, and (for Shein) it actually covers a decent amount of my peachy peach! Enough that I’m okay wearing it in public – if I ever do take those shorts off 😛
I can’t say much about the sizing, since the last time I ordered bathing suits, I was a size small. But I do know, that I typically wear Mediums in clothing, but I ordered the large to feel comfortable and I’m very glad I did! They are not snug and they are not loose so that’s a win for me!
I also ordered a size large in the pink floral print (linked below) bathing suit. I actually ordered the same print in two different suit types because I wanted a tie version and a cup version so I could mix and match or just wear whichever I wanted 😛 silly I know, but how can you not when they are this affordable AND FREAKING CUTE!
I’m also glad I did because I ended up liking all options so will be keeping and swapping when I want! Sizes still apply to the paragraph above!
