an at home workout program you‘ll LOVE
POV: You’re someone who just CAN’T walk into an average gym, bring your own workout plan, know exactly what you’re doing, and feel like you’ve had a successful workout? Right? Did I nail it? PERFECT. You’re exactly where you need to be then!
I’ve spent my entire life in a gym, from gymnastics to dance to D1 cheerleading, and since “retiring” I’ve simply grown to HATE going to the gym. But why? I love working out, I love how I feel afterwards, I know what I’m doing? But I wasn’t being told what to do, I wasn’t given a time to do it in, and I wasn’t surrounded by all of my teammate anymore. Talk about a shock! I QUICKLY learned that classes were going to have to be my thing if I wanted to love working out again. There’s just something about being around a group of people all wanting exactly what you want, and being told what to do and encouraging you to do it!
quick story time
Once I knew classes were my thing, I started trying out all kinds of them to see which one I loved the most, was most effective, and was one I would vibe well with. Those are the perks of your first workout being free right? Yeah, well coming to find out even if you loved one and would vibe with one, there was just no way you could afford the membership they offered (especially as a recent grad with a TERRIBLE paying first job!) I remember feeling SO defeated because I knew how important it was to me and for me, but I also knew I had bills to pay.
Fast forward to me finding an absolute gold mine in my hometown that checked off everything I wanted in a class… AND WAY MORE!!! It was unlike any class I’ve usually taken, but with my gymnastics and cheer/dance background, it was right up my alley! plugging in, GRIND2FIT! The atmosphere of this gym was UNMATCHED. I was INSTANTLY welcomed and INSTANTLY become friends with so many amazing women.
Which is why when I decided to move in with my husband, boyfriend at the time, in his new city with his new team (if you’ve been following my page for a while you know we lived the hockey lifestyle for a few years!) that was the ONE thing I terrified of leaving. Would I find something else like it? Probably not. Would I start hating going to the gym again? Probably. Will I meet women like this where I’m going? Probably but I didn’t want to think about it! I was SO sad. I remember crying when I told the owner of the gym I was leaving! Dramatic, I know, but have you met me.
LONG STORY SHORT – I have since moved to 3 different states, two different countries, and an actual continent away and my GRIND2FIT family has been right there with me, on my computer screen 😛

YES I did just preach about being in a group setting with people around. But with the way the instructors interact with people during the class, you feel like you’re right there with them. You’re also put into a Facebook group with EVERYONE (in person and virtual) and just being a part of all the fun they are having on their page alone makes you feel there. The instructors will ask in the group what songs you would like to hear during your workout, so you’ll get to be a part of that! If you join a LIVE class, be sure to mention it in the Facebook group and who knows maybe they will give you a little shout out to encourage you as well!
But also, if you’ve chosen to read this post it’s because you’re already looking for something to do AT HOME! Right? So I literally cannot stress enough how PERFECT GRIND2FIT is for an at home workout program. You basically get the best of both worlds AND ON YOUR OWN SCHEDULE, if you want! This is HUGE! I get to go online and choose any workout I want and do it at any time that I want! With me having a 2 hour time difference from their live classes, it’s perfect! <– Oh wait, YUP I said LIVE CLASSES! If you’re available during their live class hours, you can literally take the class with them AS THEY ARE FILMING IT with their in person clients! It just keeps getting better!
what this at home workout program includes
Grind2fit started as a dance fitness class only, and has grown into so much more! Therefore the LIVE class schedule is mostly dance (with a few HIIT classes thrown into Fridays! Your Facebook group page will keep you notified!) BUT online you have an entire library of all of those dance classes, all of those tone classes (my favorites), HIIT workouts, Barre workouts, and even yoga for those relaxing days! Literally makes for the perfect at home workout!
^ These LIVE classes take place in Cincinnati, Ohio therefore the LIVE times are Eastern Standard Time (EST). So if you’re wanting to catch a live class, just be sure to account for any time differences!!

what’s the hold up?
Not only is this an incredible price point for an at home workout program but you will be charged automatically so you won’t ever forget BUT you can literally cancel at any time for no fee. Let’s say you’ve gotten a procedure done recently that restricts you from doing a lot of activity for a while etc. You’re 100% able to cancel your membership free of charge and then start back up when you’re back. OR you can always reach out to Amanda (owner) to talk about a freeze/hold option I’m sure she can come up with something for ya! <3

EXTRA FUN!
This little section isn’t a part of grind2fit, this is just something I do personally that I think is super fun as an addition to my at home workout! I’m not at all a numbers girls. If I feel good, that’s good enough for me. But I’d also be lying if I said it wasn’t nice to SEE progress. And sometimes for me, that is with numbers or a goal sheet. I see myself and my body every single day of my life. The chances of me noticing any small changes right away are VERY slim. And I’m also an OCD super organized type A *looney* so I like to keep notes of everything! It also helps hold me accountable more and I personally NEED that! I’m a snowballer 😛 If I have one day of not doing a goal of mine.. it’ll sometimes turn into 4, or 5 and then boom I’m back trying to start from scratch again! But with my tracker, I at least know “yo B it’s been 4 days now since you went on a walk…” so I can nip that in the bud real quick!
