THE ULTIMATE WEDDING REGISTRY CHECKLIST
Putting together your wedding registry can be quite overwhelming! Not sure where to start? Not sure what type of items to put on it? Or not sure how many to things to add? I cover all of these things in my post today by going from room to room with the ultimate wedding registry checklist.
* If you are not sure HOW to add any item, from any store, to your registry on TheKnot.com, you will NEED to read this short and simple post I have on how to add those items to your registry. This is so you’re NOT making a million different registries, for a million different stores, and adding a million different links to your invites/websites!
HOW MANY ITEMS GO ON A WEDDING REGISTRY?
Wondering how many items you should put on your registry? Is it too much? Is it not enough?! It all comes down to one thing, your guest list! Typically, you should multiply your guest list by 2, and then add a few extra and this will give your guests PLENTY of items to choose from, as well as many price point options!
You never want your guests to feel as if they cannot provide you with the perfect gift simply because the only things on your list are way out of their price range! Keep in mind that since you have doubled your numbers and then some, not all gifts will be purchased, you are simply doing this for the guests to have many options!
Personally, this one was hard for me! I have 300+ guests on my quests lists. (HUGE families on both sides, LOL) Doubling that number and then some in gifts was HARD and was way too much for me! So what I did was add enough gifts for at least one per person to purchase (roughly 300 gifts which I still couldn’t do) and simply doubled the “need” of certain gifts.
TIP: Instead of adding random things just to meet your gift numbers, I simply multiplied the things I thought we would need more of, especially over time. Instead of 2 sets of towels, I added 4. Instead of 2 sets of sheets, I added 3. Or instead of 1 set of dinner/silverware I added 2, and so on! All of those are items I know I will absolutely need multiple of and know that it will never hurt to have extras. That way, a guest can search for a gift in their price range and instead of saying “darn, a set was already bought” they can say “oh, a set has been bought already – but looks like they need a few more, score!!”
WHAT ITEMS GO ON A WEDDING REGISTRY?
This will always, 100%, depend on the couple themselves. If you and your spouse have been living together before hand, you may not NEED dinnerware or silverware, but you may simply just WANT a newer set? You may still have your same Keurig coffee machine from college and would like an upgrade?! OR you may just want those massive throw pillows you see at the store every time but will never splurge on, yourself? Like I said, It will vary depending on the couple, but this list is a good place to start! Don’t need it? Scratch it off! Really want it? Copy the link and paste it onto your registry! YOU.DO.YOU.
DISCLAIMER: Please note this is an ULTIMATE wedding registry checklist. Many of these items may not apply to you and your spouse, and that’s okay! You also do not need to add ALL of these items to your registry. Take what you need from this post, that is what it’s here for <3
If there’s a ( * ) located by the item, it just means when I reached out on my instagram stories, these were the items that were on their registry (and they got) that they have used/loved the most! – obviously other than the OG dinner plates/silverware HAHA!
If an item in the pictures below is an amazon item, find the item in the bullet point list and click on the link! 🙂 If it’s not amazon, there are clickable pictures below the collage pictures!

Air fryer ovens are a great way to get the benefits of an air fryer, often with many extra features and a larger capacity than standard air fryers.
